Baby, it’s cold outside! So for that reason curl up in your nicest designer chairs, accompanied with a fluffy (faux) sheepskin throw. There are so many examples out there, and we’d like to share our favourite ones with you. From the iconic Eames chairs (rockers, Eiffel) to the famous Ghost chairs, we’re covering them all (quite literally).
First up: Eames Chairs (Eames Eiffel, Eames Rocker, Eames DSW & DAW)
These beautiful images are via Line Kay (vintagepiken) from Norway, who also did the styling. Love the table from raw wood, and all the other materials found in the room, such as the designer chair by Xavier Pauchard (also known as Tolix chairs). Just noticed that that chair has a throw on it too, so we can add Tolix to our list (see a few more below). 🙂 The Eames Eiffel chairs are barely noticeable, but love how the pretty metal legs are peeking out. 10/10!
Amazing vibe of this room via ‘The Brick House’. Can’t put my finger on it, but I think it’s the colour scheme that makes the room feel so cozy. Add some (faux) sheepskin and you’re all done. (Images via The Brick House)
And here, the ever so popular, all-time classic: The Eames DSW Chair. This room via the Marion House Book is, just as the one from The Brick House, so cozy and elegant. Stacked wood, touches of black and gold (and red) everywhere. Finished off by, you guessed it, sheepskin throws, yes!
The Eames DAW (with raised armrests) via Jeltje Fotografie. White Eames chairs with (faux) sheepskin is just the perfect combination: it blends in together so well. And below another image of a white Eames Rocker (photographer not found, leave a comment below).
Bentwood Chairs by Thonet
The elegant bentwood designer chair by Thonet suits many rooms and never looks outdated. It may be a bit bare sometimes, so covering them (whilst keeping the pretty backside/shapes exposed) won’t harm! Image via Loft Photographie & Anne Marie Photographie.
The Ghost Chair
This image comes from the supercool, phantastisch Studio Oink (always great works, check them out!) and this home in Wiesbaden, Germany is just as great. The designer chair pictured, or well nicely covered and camouflaged, is the Ghost chair, designed by Philippe Starck.
Mies van der Rohe – Barcelona Chair

Tolix Chair by Xavier Pauchard
Another fluffly-throw-covered designer chair: the Tolix chairs by Xavier Pauchard. Via Svenn Gaarden.
Wishbone Chair by Hans J. Wegner
We’re almost there! This beautiful home belongs to Janne Peters. Here you can see the great Wishbone chairs by Hans Jørgensen Wegner.
And last but certainly not least: the S chair by Verner Panton in this pretty (in pink and gold) home of Bijou & Boheme.
