Good, but...

This is not the first chair I buy in this store, but it is the first rocking chair. Before I had the Charles Eames Style DSW in white, which I still find perfect in every way.
The delivery was very fast (three days to Hamburg), but the package arrived in not perfect condition. It had opened on one corner during the transport and lousily taped up together again. The chair however didn't have any damage, as it was very well protected on the inside with bubble wrap and paper and so on.
There are no instruction to assemble the chair. This is where my experience gets a little frustrating. Of course it's not rocket science, but even though I am quite experienced in assembling furniture and I consider myself pretty handy, it still took me a moment and a few tries to figure out which screw goes where and which goes first. For example I now know from experience that the slides have to be first screwed to the metal structure and only then everything can be mounted on the plastic shell. If you do the other way around and screw the metal structure to the chair you will not be able to put the slides on it. I am not sure why, maybe it has something to do with the flexibility of the metal, but trust me on this one.
The metal structure has in my case some minor imperfections on the welding, but nothing you can see from a reasonable point of view. The wooden and the plastic parts are on the other hand flawless.
I had the chair in Teal and I find it beautiful, the color is not exactly as you see it on your screen (well, at least on my screen, so many parameters may change) but it is very deep and rich so I am not disappointed.
The seating is not as high as the DSW, but I guess you should consider it more like an armchair, in which case it is a normal height, just like the couch. Rocking is also easy, you will find yourself doing it without even realizing it.
It is very comfortable to sit in, but I think I will order the seat pad or I will put something on it, just to make it cozier.
All in all I am not disappointed, even though the assembly experience can be bettered.
