Free Furniture collection
By British Heart Foundation

Cult's first steps to becoming a more sustainable company

The facts

Every year in the UK, we throw away 1.6m to 22m tonnes of furniture in good condition, which could have been re-used, re-homed, sold, or donated. According to the British Heart Foundation (BHF) shop survey, the most likely reason for consumers binning their unwanted furniture instead of donating or recycling is because they just don’t have the means to transport it (20%), they want to get rid of things as soon as possible (16%) or they just find it easy to unload it into the dump (9%).

That is why we are proud to announce our partnership with the British Heart Foundation.

Suppose you have recently made a purchase with Cult furniture but need someone to pick up your old or existing furniture for free and recycle it in a more eco-friendly way. In that case, we are here to offer you a hassle-free, sustainable, and most importantly charitable solution with the BHF.

How does it work?

What do we need
from you?

All furniture that is being picked by the British Heart Foundation must be in a saleable condition, free from heavy wear, stains, and tears. Any upholstered furniture must hold a valid fire safety label.

All collections must be based in the UK. Unfortunately, BHF cannot collect furniture items located in Northern Ireland.

Thank you for helping us support this great cause and for being part of a more sustainable future with us!
