How to Measure?

You’ve found the perfect banquette seat. Now it’s time to measure…

Straight Banquette

  • Width: Total unit width from left to right.
  • Overall Depth: Total unit depth the bench extends from the wall.
  • Overall Height: Floor to the top of the backrest.
  • Seat Height: Floor to the top of the seat cushion.
  • Seat Depth: Front of the backrest to the front edge of the seat.

L-Shape Banquette

  • Left Wall: Corner out to the outer left edge of the unit.
  • Right Wall: Corner out to the outer right edge of the unit.
  • Total Width Footprint: Add Left Width and Right Width outer edge measurements together to find the total unit coverage.
  • Overall Depth: Back wall to the front of the seat.
  • Overall Height: Floor to the top of the backrest.
  • Seat Height: Floor to the top of the seat cushion.
  • Seat Depth: Front of the backrest to the front edge of the seat.
  • Corner Note: Measure all the way into the corner vertex. Do not overlap your Left Width and Right Width dimensions.

U-Shape Banquette

  • Back Wall: Main middle unit from corner to corner.
  • Left Wing: Left corner out to the outer front edge of the unit.
  • Right Wing: Right corner out to the outer front edge of the unit.
  • Total Width Footprint: Combine Back Wall, Left Wing, and Right Wing outer edge measurements to calculate the total running length of the seating.
  • Overall Depth: Back wall to the front of the seat.
  • Overall Height: Floor to the top of the backrest.
  • Seat Height: Floor to the top of the seat cushion.
  • Seat Depth: Front of the backrest to the front edge of the seat.
