To try and make life a little simpler we have created a list of frequently asked questions however if you have a query that is not on our list then please do not hesitate to contact us.
Can we view the chairs before buying?
Yes we have a showroom in the UK at 811-813 Wandsworth Road, London SW8 3JF. We are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
If you are coming down to see a particular product, please call us in advance so that we can make sure we have the product that you would like to see available in the Showroom.

Do we have a particular item in stock?
We have most items in stock. If we do not then it will be stated on the product page. Also if you try to purchase an out of order item, our online shop will not let you add the item to your basket unless it clearly states that the item is a pre-order item. If an item is out of stock and unavailable for pre-order, then you can click the “ email me when back in stock” button and we will update you as soon as the product is available to order again.
What is the difference between your products and the branded originals?
Our products are premium-made reproductions. We try our utmost to be true to the original design and use the same materials where possible.
Why do you sell replica classic furniture and not originals?
We love iconic designer furniture just as much as you do. By offering reproductions of the original we are making these Cult pieces more accessible to the wider public. We believe it is only fair that every person should have the chance to enjoy beautifully-designed furniture at a price that they can afford.
Is it Legal to buy and sell replica classic furniture?
We are a UK based company and therefore legally allowed to produce and sell replica furniture and lighting from 25 years after its original creation.
Recently the UK government has decided to change copyright protection law from 25 years after original creation, to 70 years after the death of the original designer. However, this law will take a while to come in, so in the meantime the UK government has created a transitional law that allows us to sell replica furniture until April 2020.
And after this date its illegal? Not totally. Only designer furniture that is categorised as artistic will be protected by copyright and made illegal to reproduce. We believe that most of the items we sell do not fall into this category.
What is your returns policy?
We are so confident that you will be happy with your purchase that if for any reason whatsoever you are not satisfied, please return the item in its original condition and packaging within 30 days for a full refund of goods minus the cost of collection.
For collections within the UK the, cost will be £9.95 a box or to arrange a swap.
For orders outside of the UK we’ll be able to arrange a collection for you, the cost will depend on what European zone you are in, please contact us for a more accurate collection cost.
Can I order over the phone or via email?
While the best way to order is online, our customer service team can take orders over the phone. We will also take email orders for larger trade orders that require a proforma invoice and/or need to be paid by BACS transfer.
How long does shipping take?
All in stock items ordered before 1pm will be dispatched within 72 hours. Europe can take from 4-10 days depending on which zone you are in. All shipping details can be found on our delivery page with estimated delivery times.
My country is not listed on your shipping list will you still deliver?
We’ll definitely try. Please contact us with your requirements and we’ll provide you with a quote if possible.
Which plug do lighting products come with?
Our lighting products have a UK plug. For international orders european adapters will be provided.
If ordering from out of the UK do I have to pay the UK VAT charge?
If you are buying from within the EC and have a registered company VAT number, then we can deduct the 20% VAT from your order. You will need to register an account with us and verify your company vat details before the vat is deducted from your order. Any customers purchasing from outside the UK and EC such as USA, Norway and Switzerland, then the VAT will automatically be deducted on checkout.
Under no circumstances are we able to refund VAT after payment is processed.
What is the minimum for custom orders?
If you would like to place a custom order the minimum per colour and style is 40 units. Custom orders will take between 12-14 weeks.
If it isn’t in stock, can I still pay for it and reserve it?
We only take orders on items we know are coming in to our warehouse. If the item can be pre-ordered this will be made clear on the website.
Can my order be delivered sooner?
We try to get your order to you as soon as possible. All dates shown on the website are our best estimates for when we can dispatch the item so we’re not able to bring this date forward.
How do I track the status of my order?
We will update you as soon as your order is dispatched with a tracking number, you will be able to click on the link we send you and track the status of your delivery.

Can I choose my delivery date?
We can hold a order for you for up to two weeks. Please get in touch with us by phone or email with your order number to organise a delivery date.
How can I make changes to my order?

When is my pre-order due?
On your order confirmation email you’ll be given an estimated dispatch date on your invoice. We’ll try to get in touch with you if this changes, but most of the time this will be shipped from us within a week of the initial date given.
What if my order is damaged?
Please get in touch as soon as possible by email. The first step in our resolution process is to request photos so please send them in an email to email@example.com
